Rockford IT to upgrade its solution to offer a
real-time RSA solution
Rockford IT will
soon upgrade its RSA (Regular System Administration)
service, currently monitoring and reporting on customers
backup status, Internet connection and server health
(including disk, memory and CPU utilisation) once a week, to
instead delivering this service in real-time.
The upgraded system will deliver all the previous functions
of the RSA service, but as it provides this service in
real-time, it allows the Rockford team to remain extremely
proactive, making them aware of any issues via visual, email
and even instant SMS message, and giving them the ability to
analyse reports and spot potential problems before they
occur. This helps Rockford IT meet and exceed its SLA
(Service Level Agreement) with uptime and performance for
managed systems, ultimately benefiting its clients' business
efficiency and operations.

IT introduces 03 numbers to offer cheaper calls.
Rockford IT have implemented a set of the new 03 numbers
that will eventually migrate from its existing 0871 and 0845
numbers. The change comes as the 0871 numbers moved to a
premium rate on 1st August 2009. Rockford IT has acted
accordingly, ensuring that its customers will not pay the
higher costs for calling its support team.
The new 0333 numbers have the benefit of costing the same to
call as standard landline numbers, even from mobiles.
