Rockford offers free WatchGuard Webinars

­WatchGuard Professional PartnerAs a­ WatchGuard Professional Partner, Rockford IT is pleased to announce it has teamed up with the network security leader to offer a series of free webinars to demonstrate the features of the WatchGuard XTM, XCS and SSL range.

Companies who are interested in the WatchGuard products but would like to know more about these appliances can register to attend the 60-90 minute sessions for free, and can connect from their computer, simply and securely, to watch the webinar online. WatchGuard's XTM and XCS webinars take place on Wednesday 8th September and Monday 13th September at 10:30am and 14:30pm. WatchGuard's SSL webinar will take place at 10:30am on Thursday 16th September.

  • An overview of the range of XTM appliances (XTM 2, XTM 5, XTM 8 and XTM 10 series), and the exploration of the best appliance to suit your business­
  • Configuration of network interfaces
  • Basic policy creation (including HTTP proxy)
  • Explanation of features including Antivirus, Intrusion Prevention, Reputation Enabled Defense (RED) which protects against web-based threats, Spam Blocker and SMTP Proxy.
  • Content control through WebBlocker
  • Multi-WAN management
  • Policy Based Routing (PBR)
  • Bandwidth control and Quality of Service (QoS)
  • Remote access (MVPN / SSL)
  • Time allowed at the end of the webinar for any questions
  • An overview of range of XCS appliances (XCS and QMS)
  • What is Reputation Authority and how does it work?
  • Basic policy creation
  • Explanation of features including Antivirus and Intrusion Prevention.

  • User experience – including a demonstration of the portal
  • Publishing resources in conjunction with discussion / demonstration of end point checks and authentication options
  • Demonstration of two factor authentication (SMS and software token)
  • Demonstration of session clean up options
  • Time allowed at the end of the webinar for any questions.
